Fishing advice from Simon Kidd: These flies are fantastic for grayling throughout the late autumn and winter on rivers like the Welsh Dee and many more places including overseas. Try to fish them without drag, under a bung or large floating fly, as near to the bottom as possible. While smaller than traditional egg patterns, they will also work exceptionally well for stillwater trout.
