For more than two decades, Simon Kidd has been a driving force behind Snowbee. Having joined the company in 2006 as Sales and Marketing Manager, Simon has played a pivotal role in shaping the brand's growth, product development and reputation within the fly fishing community.
Today, we are delighted to announce Simon's new role as Snowbee Global Ambassador.
This exciting new position marks a natural progression for someone whose passion, knowledge and experience within fly fishing run so deep. While Simon will continue to play an active role in product development and testing, he will now become a direct resource for anglers, clubs, retailers, instructors and guiding professionals throughout the UK and beyond.

Few anglers have contributed more to Snowbee than Simon Kidd. Having spent almost two decades helping develop our products and represent the brand, Simon is now taking on a new role as Snowbee's Global Ambassador.
More importantly for anglers, Simon is one of England's most accomplished fly fishermen. A former National Rivers Champion, multiple England International, World Championship competitor and captain of several England teams, Simon has spent decades refining the skills, tactics and watercraft that consistently catch fish across rivers and stillwaters alike.

- England International representative across multiple disciplines
- Individual Champion at the prestigious Aurefisk event in Sunnfjord, Norway
- Multiple World Fly Fishing Championship appearances in Sweden, France, Spain, Slovakia and Portugal
- 4th Individual at the World Fly Fishing Championships in Spain (2003)
- European Championship Team Silver Medallist (Norway, 2007)
- Multiple Commonwealth Team appearances
- Anglian Water Stillwater Champion
- Eight-time Regional Eliminator winner or runner-up
- Captain of multiple England teams
- Top Rod in the Hardy Team Competition on Rutland and Bewl Water
Simon has also been selected for the England World Masters Team competing in Norway during 2026, further proof that he continues to perform at the very highest level of competitive fly fishing.

Sessions are to be held on mutually agreeable dates with payment completed up front. Cancellation and refund policies will be sent via email when booking. Generally, we will try to rearrange dates if cancelled two-weeks in advance of booking. All customers must have a valid Environment Agency Rod License on the date selected. 1-day, 8-day and 12-month licenses are available. Where applicable, this does not include the venue ticket price, which should be obtained by customer directly.
