Snowbee Geo Fly Reels
When we launched the new Geo Fly reel range, we could not have imagined the response we would receive. Machined from the best quality solid bar stock aluminium, the Geo really is the ultimate lightweight large arbor reel. By using every weight-reducing technique available, the new Geo checks in at 25% lighter than the old XS, whilst still retaining its structural rigidity.
From the moment you first pick up a Geo, you realise you are handling something special. Hard anodised in a satin pewter finish, with brushed aluminium trim, the Geo is closer to a piece of artwork than a fly reel. Yet lurking below the surface is the latest design of multi-disc, centre drag systems, featuring polished stainless steel, glass fibre and Teflon/Rulon composite drag washers. A detented drag control provides a smooth, progressive drag, coupled with minimal start-up inertia. Whether you are fishing 2lb tippet for lightening-fast, wild Brownies, or coping with smash-takes from heavy over-wintered Rainbows’ the Geo will take it all in its stride.

Possibly the ultimate light-line river reel. Weighing in at a classleading 122g (4.3oz), the Geo 340 offers supreme performance, hi-tech design and stunning looks… plus a drag quite capable of taming that monster brownie, lurking under the bank.

10594 Geo 790
The new Geo 790 is a true super-large arbor reel. The additional diameter provides extra-fast line retrieval, when you need to get that fish ‘back on the reel’ in a hurry. The larger arbor diameter, gives the 790 it’s elegant, lightweight looks, but don’t be fooled… there is more than enough backing capacity to cope with a double figure Rainbow or the seething run of a big bonefish.

A new Cassette Spool version of the Popular 790 model. Built to
the same exacting standards, as the current reels, but fitted with
a precision moulded, reinforced polycarbonate Cassette Spool.
Giving the same line capacity as the standard model, this offers
the advantage of quick-change, inexpensive cassette spools, so
favoured by competition fishermen. Also available as a ‘retro-fit’ spool head to convert your existing 790 Geo into a Cassette reel.

Salmon and Saltwater Reels
The new Geo range was so well received, it wasn’t long before we were being asked for Salmon & Saltwater models – so here they are! These two new models have been designed with massive line capacity firmly in mind, to cope with the largest saltwater game fish, or the longest belly Spey line, with ample backing to spare.
Incorporating a new, patented drag system, which employs multiple carbonfibre and composite drag discs, to provide a silky smooth, progressive drag from zero, to ‘Tarpon stopping!’ This new drag assembly is totally sealed with 5 silicone O-rings, to provide total saltwater protection.
10595 Geo 910 Fly Reel
Designed for lighter line Salmon or Saltwater fishing, the new 910 is solidly constructed to stand up to the rigours of powerful fish. With a line capacity 27% higher than our XS910, you can take on the largest saltwater predators, confident in the knowledge you have enough backing capacity to cope.

The new 1112 has a classleading line capacity, which at 14% higher than our XS1112, will swallow a long-belly Spey line with ample backing to spare. Massive drag performance which will ‘tame’

XSD Cartridge Fly Reel System
Built to the same exacting standards as the CNC machined XS reel, the XSD offers the same, outstanding XS drag system but in a lightweight, low-cost die-cast body. The Snowbee XSD’s break the mould and quite simply, offers a quality and performance to eclipse anything on the market in this category. In it’s first year, the XSD780 came out as ‘Best in Test’ in the Trout Fisherman review of 16 Cartridge fly reels plus Total Fly Fishing’s Choice, in their review of the latest Trout Reels under £100.

The quality die-cast frame of the XSD performance reels is made from a lightweight, powder coated and oven baked alloy, for a tough, chip and saltwater resistant finish. The multi-disc stainless steel and Broflon drag system is exactly the same as that in the well proven XS reels. Never before has there been a reel of this performance at this price.

XSD460 and XSD1112 Models
Following the huge success of the XSD780 we were immediately asked for a full range of reels in this new format…..so here they are. With the same drag and features as the XSD780, our two new models complete the range and we are confident it won’t be long before they are also winning awards!
XSD460
This model sits part way between the XS340 & XS560 for size. Designed to take lines between #4 & #6 wt, it will appeal to both the river fisher and the small stillwater angler.
The XSD460 comes with a spare cartridge spool and additional spools are readily available.
The XSD780
A budget priced reel, with outstanding drag performance, plus a quick change cartridge system. Available in two options – an individual reel body with a single cartridge spool, or a kit comprising one XSD cartridge reel body, with 5 cartridge spools, all packed in a neat, padded 5-reel/spool
Cordura case. (Reel weight 230g).
XSD1112
The XSD1112 is an extra large salmon reel. By increasing the width of the spool, this model will swallow the largest of Spey lines, plus adequate backing…all for an amazing price!
Available either as an individual reel body with just one cartridge, or our new Salmon Kit consisting of a reel body and 4 cartridge spools. Team up the kit with four of our award winning salmon lines and cover every salmon fishing condition you are likely to encounter. These reels are built to last and are perfectly at home in saltwater, or on the local reservoir.
Classic Fly Reel
This superb new reel is precision moulded from glassfibre reinforced nylon, to provide a lightweight, rigid frame, which is totally corrosion proof.
The large arbor, 2-pillar, open cage design provides fast retrieve and minimal line memory off the spool.
The Carbon fibre / Teflon disc drag system has a smooth, sensitive detent control to take the drag from ‘off’, to ‘maximum’ setting and provides amazing performance for a reel of this price.
Available in a #460 size for rivers and small still waters and a #790 size for larger reservoirs, rivers or saltwater.

The Classic Lines comprise of an economy priced range of floating and sinking densities aimed at the budget conscious angler. At these prices, you would not expect the supreme performance of the XS range of lines, however they offer good, reliable performance and make an exceptional ‘entry level’ or combo kit line.
With shorter, steeper tapers, the casting performance is more forgiving and ensures good turn-over of large flies at maximum casting distance.
