Lure Fishing

Saltwater Fly Fishing
Ever more anglers are going destination fly fishing for exotic Saltwater species and anyone who has hooked up with a hard running Tarpon or Bill-fish knows the importance of plenty of backing on your spool. With a large Sailfish or Marlin running hard, a quarter of a mile from the boat, the deciding factor in success or failure is staying in touch with that fish – period. This is where Power-Pro® is in a class of its own. Hundreds of yards of line out of the rod tip has a tremendous drag through the water on its own – without the added problem of an angry gamefish on the end of it. The ultra low diameter of Power-Pro® reduces this drag to the minimum. Less line drag – less chance of the hook pulling out.
The round cross section prevents the line flattening and burying in the spool – a problem associated with many inferior braids, leading to line snatch, or lock-up and lost fish - allowing the angler to concentrate on what is happening down at the business end.
Pro-Leader Armoured Pro Leader is manufactured from a continuous fibre Dyneema Core with a braided stainless steel outer sheath. Pro-Leader is softer, thinner and stronger than conventional wire leaders with no memory, which gives a more natural action to the fly or lure.
This added flexibility means Pro-Leader can be knotted, doing away with bulky crimps and if the leader is kinked, it can be easily straightened by pulling through the fingers, as you would a mono leader. The ultimate “bites” for any type of predator fishing whether for Saltwater Bluefish or Pike.

We all know the advantages of Fluorocarbon as a tippet material. Our new range of tapered Fluorocarbon leaders combine the benefits of fluorocarbon, with the convenience of a tapered leader. The 9ft leaders are ideal for river or Stillwater nymph fishing, particularly in crystal clear waters.
Monofilament Leaders
A range of top quality tapered Monofilament Leaders, using a super strength, low diameter Copolymer Nylon material. The 9ft leaders have a long taper and short tippet for easy turn over in general use, whilst the 12ft, Specialist Dry-Fly Leaders have a steeper taper and 51/2ft tippet, for delicate presentation.
Heavy Butt Salmon & Saltwater Leaders
These specialist monofilament leaders have a heavier butt section to minimise hinge point, when turning over large flies. Available in 10ft & 15ft lengths
Poly-Coated Leaders (PCL’s)
The smooth tapered Polymer coating over a supple monofilament core make the Poly-Coated Leaders an extension of your fly line. This superb range of leaders has a neat welded loop at the butt end with a monofilament tip, which can be tied directly into your tippet. Salmon Poly-Coated Leaders

Loop Connectors
The simple way to attach leaders to fly-lines. Pack contains 3 finished loops, with silicone tubing, ready to attach direct to your fly-line. Our new design features un-glued splices, which makes them softer & more pliable, avoiding those stiff glued sections, which cause hinge-points. Also new is a lightweight model for lighter line weights.
