All Snowbee fly lines are designed and manufactured in the UK and are recognised
by top professionals everywhere, as truly world class lines and arguably the best
British Fly Lines ever made.
The Snowbee success story in the development of high quality fly lines continues
unabated. Ask a large majority of UK anglers, which lines they use and chances are
they’re already using a Snowbee.
By using a computer controlled production system we are able to incorporate minute
changes to fly line profiles to meet the very precise demands of today’s modern fly
fishers. Add to this the unique Snowbee ‘high performance’ and exclusive coating
process and you have a fly line with the slickest finish, lowest-friction & lowest
memory characteristics you’ll find anywhere - the envy of our competitors.

By Popular demand, 2005 sees the introduction of the new 'Spectre' series of fly
lines. This innovative new process incorporates our technically advanced clear intermediate
coating over a camo-coloured core. By combining a reduced visibility with a highly
developed 'stepped front taper' profile, both new lines in the series offer the 'Predator'
fly fisher a real opportunity to deliver large flies quickly, with just the minimum
of effort. Also included in this range are the 'Saltwater' and 'Bonefish' fly lines.
Two stunning new lines, developed specifically for saltwater use.
Saltwater & Predator Lines
Snowbee XS Running Lines feature a low mass, low diameter material composition and
provide the ideal medium for Shooting Head construction and line shoot-ability. These
ultra-slick 40 yard floating running lines come in a choice of two colours, ideally
suited to either Trout or Salmon/ Saltwater fly fishing.
3D & Scandinavian Spey Lines
In all cases, successful Spey casting requires fine line control and split-second
timing. The amount of line exposed to the rear of the caster is also of paramount
importance. The Snowbee development team has tackled this situation head on and produced
a range of lines that are perfectly balanced for Spey casting in just about any river
environment. And, following the amazing success of the 3-D Spey lines in 2004, we've
added a further range of 'Scandinavian-Spey' profile lines, to meet the demands of
those salmon and sea trout anglers, fishing with double handed rods, in highly restricted
areas, where the creation of a large D-loop is near impossible.
Last year we introduced two new lines; the XS-DP – ‘Delicate Presentation’ and the
XS-ED – ‘Extreme Distance’. By the end of the year, these lines were being used world
wide and recommended by some of the best anglers and casters on the planet. The only
down side of that was we simply couldn’t make enough of them! The Extreme Distance
was rated ‘Best in Test’ by Trout Fisherman magazine, in comparison to all other
recognised distance lines on the world market. Yet another Snowbee line joins the
Portfolio of pedigree lines. 2007 sees us extend the Extreme Distance range, with
the addition of a new #5 weight floating line, for the light line specialist.
For delicate, precision casting, the XS Delicate Presentation line excels, but has
not yet been afforded the testing category to recognise the outstanding performance
of this line…it will!
