The boots feature our full Neoprene lining for added warmth. The 2-piece construction allows flexibility at the knee for greater kneeling comfort, whilst the new material prevents punctures.

210 Denier Nylon Chest Waders

The 210 Denier Nylon material is lighter, tougher, more durable and more flexible than the old PVC, so offers the wearer greater protection, coupled with added wearer comfort. The tightly woven 210D Nylon outer resists thorns and abrasion like no other wader of this weight, while the inner PVC coating ensures they remain 100% watertight. For added strength, the seams are double stitched and heat sealed on the inside.

Q: What type of Wader Sole is best for me?

A: We produce a range of soles, each designed for a specific purpose:

The Cleated Sole, is most suitable for general use on sand, mud, shingle etc.

Our unique Combination (combi) Sole incorporates a Felt-sole & Deep Cleated Heel. The heavy-duty heel digs in on wet grass or muddy banks, whilst the Felt-sole gives unsurpassed grip in the fastest of rivers. Trials have shown that there is no loss of grip in the river by not having a felt-heel, because if you are unsure of your footing, you naturally transfer the weight to the balls of your feet - where you need the grip.

For conditions where studs can be an advantage, we have a number of options: Our amazing ‘Spike-Sole’ on the new Granite Neoprene range, or our Screw-in Wader Studs can be added to the heels of

Felt-sole or Cleated sole waders, for additional grip.

Wader Care

All Snowbee Waders are made from synthetic materials, which are not susceptible to cracking or perishing, like the old rubber waders were. Direct sunlight, will however degrade synthetic materials, so it is recommended that waders are stored out of direct sunlight. Creasing does not adversely affect the performance of waders, but does look unsightly. The best way of avoiding this is to store the waders in a Snowbee Wader Rack. (See page 40)

After use in Saltwater, or brackish water, the waders should always be washed down with fresh water.

There is no getting away from it – after a hard days fishing, waders & wellies are NOT the most pleasant smelling things on the planet ! Our new WADER FRESH & BOOT SPRAY developed by Snowbee Bioscience provides the solution to an age old problem – smelly feet !

These two hi-tech sprays are derived from Chitosan. A totally natural, biodegradable product, extracted from the shells of shellfish. Chitosan has natural antimicrobial, antiseptic, deodorant and fungicidal properties.

The convenient 70ml hand-pump is easy to apply to Waders, Boots, or any type of footwear, to keep them fresh and reduce foot odour. The ready-to-use, non-toxic sprays should be sprayed inside any type of footwear, as a natural aroma refresher before wearing, or during storage. The totally natural properties of Chitosan inhibit the growth of the bacteria responsible for unpleasant musty odours and those that cause athlete’s foot and other kinds of dermal disease.

Laboratory tests conducted by the International SGS Group, concluded that both Wader Fresh & Boot Spray caused a reduction in the 2 separate Test Bacteria’s. Straphylococcus aureus & Klebsiella pneumonia of over 99.9% over a 24hr period compared to the Control specimens *.

Many years ago, we used to make a Nylon wader called the ‘WaderMaster’. Made from 420D Ballistic Nylon – the same material ‘Special Forces’ use for their 1-piece Jump Suits – this material is as close to indestructible as it gets!

Well they’re back….the new Snowbee Granite Waders are made from that same 420D Nylon & offer outstanding durability.

They’re not breathable & they’re not lightweight. What they are is incredibly tough, durable & hardwearing. They deflect thorns & gorse like no other material & if you want a pair of waders that is going to last…this is it.

The 420D Ballistic Nylon material has a PVC backing to ensure it stays waterproof. All the seams are double stitched and then heat taped on the inside.

The upper is fitted to our new heavy duty, hand laminated Rubber Boot, which incorporates our new Boot-to-Upper join system to eliminate leaks.

The boot is fully neoprene lined for warmth and comfort and features a steel sole shank, for additional sole protection and to prevent sole torsion, for better grip on uneven surfaces. The boot uses our new fully cleated sole for sure grip in rough conditions.

How it all Works

Snowbee Vapour-Tec® is a true outdoor fabric. The key to its enhanced performance and unmatched comfort is in the advanced TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), microporous laminate. TPU is a Hydrophilic membrane, the structure of which allows moisture to be wicked away from the body and transferred through the fabric to the outside in the evaporated state. The micro-pores in the TPU laminate are large enough to allow moisture vapour (perspiration) out, but far too small to allow water molecules in, making the fabric totally waterproof.

Apart from keeping you dry and comfortable, fabrics laminated with TPU are ideal for high performance garments. The hydrophilic structure is laminated to a tough outer shell, combining softness with strength, wind-resistance and breathability. Its quick drying, water resistance and lightweight provide the ultimate in practical function.

As you warm up inside the garment, the air inside becomes hot and humid, relative to that outside. This raises the vapour pressure inside which forces moisture, in the form of perspiration and condensation, through the PU Breathable membrane, leaving you cool and dry all day long.

The new XS-Pro from Snowbee brings a whole new meaning to ‘fly fishing!’

Yes, we’ve all been there…. you get all togged up – waders, wading boots, wading jacket, fly vest and then…nature calls! You unclip the wader braces and believe you can just pull the front of the waders down far enough…at which point the braces disappear over your shoulders and down the back of your wading jacket, so you have to strip off and start again…. at this point it usually starts raining!  Well, not any more. The new XS-Pro wader is fitted with a full-length front zip. Developed by Riri for the diving industry, these brand-leading precision water-tight zips are pressure tested to 1.7 Bar and that’s deep wading.

Having proved the Zip-Front Wader system works with our new XS-Pro waders in 2006, the all-new 2007 range takes wader design & performance on to a new plane. This state of the art wader eclipses anything on the market, in terms of design, performance and material technology. For those anglers who don’t want the trouble of separate Wading boots, the new range includes a Bootfoot model, fitted with a heavy duty, hand-laminated rubber boot. The boot is neoprene lined for warmth and comfort and is fitted with our combination felt sole & cleated heel for the ultimate grip.

In addition a mid-sole steel sole shank offers extra protection and prevents torsion on the boot.

The new XS-Pro wader from Snowbee breaks the mould, by utilising the very latest in breathable material technology. Using a durable new triple laminate Polyester material ensures total reliability and durability.

DWR Application:

The outer surface of our new fabric is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. The chemical treatment forces water to bead up and roll off the surface of the fabric, which enhances the waterproof properties and keeps the fabric light, by not soaking up water.

This super durable application will retain its waterproof properties even after repeated use & washings.

Durabilty:

The main body material uses a 3-layer laminate, whilst for additional protection, puncture & abrasion resistance, there is a second layer of contrasting colour material used to form the knee & seat pads.

The fully adjustable braces assembly is removable by means of Velcro attachments, so the waders can be rolled down into a Waist wader when required, using the advanced Lumbar Support Wading Belt supplied, which helps relieve back-ache from a day’s wading. (See full details on Pages 40/41).

The Neoprene Socks use 4mm CR neoprene for the upper panels & hard wearing Hypalon for the sole panel, to avoid heel compression. The latest articulated design and ‘handed’ left and right feet, gives an improved fit and freedom of movement. The integral gravel guards have lacing hooks at the front and a non-slip elasticated cuff to prevent them riding up during use.

Waist Waders have become increasingly popular over recent years. For those anglers who don’t need to deep wade, Waist waders are a highly practical option. The lower height keeps you cooler than full chest waders, but coming up to waist height allows you to sit down and remain dry; an advantage over thigh waders.

Our new Classic model gives freedom of movement when walking or wading, but still gives the cool, dry comfort of our Vapour-Tec® breathable system.

Fitted with our combi felt-sole PVC boots for sure grip in rivers, or reservoir banks. The waist is generously cut with two side elasticated sections plus two Velcro adjustable waist straps so you set the waist size, which suits you. 11182 XS Breathable Wading Jacket

XS…the ultimate Wading Jacket.

When we set out to design the XS Wading Jacket, we wanted the best possible garment, so we used the best possible material available. A heavy duty Polyester Micro Fibre Twill, normally used on Breathable Waders. This superior material will withstand a Hydrostatic Pressure of 15,000mm of H20 with a breathability of 4,000g/m2/24 hrs. The finer micro fibres, give the finished cloth a softer feel, more like cotton. To give the jacket even better wear characteristics, we then added 600 denier Polyester shoulder & elbow patches for added chafe & puncture resistance.The unique front pocket design has a full width cover flap closing over the 2 ample front pockets, with a small Velcro strip. The pockets are a bellows design, but the tops are held in place with short elastic straps, so when not in use, they remain flat to the jacket front.

Our famous range of Prestige Breathable Jackets & Trousers is constructed using our top quality Breathable material. Tough, durable and hard wearing and laminated with our Vapour-Tec® Moisture transfer System membrane, to ensure you stay 100% dry and comfortable in all weathers.

The cuffs have an inner adjustable Neoprene cuff, plus an outer cuff with Velcro strap adjuster. This Snowbee designed cuff combination has proved to be as waterproof as it gets!

The waist can be adjusted with an elasticated draw cord with toggle-locks.

The Wading Jacket has 2 top pockets with two ample front bellows pockets, which will take the largest of fly boxes with large Velcro cover flaps. On the back, the Wading Jacket has a large zip pocket, which will take a sweater, or other clothing.

The main body of all the jackets & trousers use our well proven, 100% Polyester material with our laminated PU breathable membrane. The attractive, natural dark moss green colour blends well with any country environment. Areas subjected to the worst of the weather and wear, have additional hard wearing 600 denier Polyester breathable material, in a contrasting darker moss green colour, both practical and stylish. All garments use a high quality, warm, breathable lining, for additional wearer comfort.

All jackets feature corrosion resistant, 2-way front zips, double storm flaps with stud fastening on the outer flap and a rain ‘gutter’ on the inner flap to prevent rain beating in. The sleeves have articulated elbows for easy movement and comfort.

The removable hoods are quickly fastened with 4 studs, so the jackets can be worn with or without a hood, as required. The hoods have an elasticated draw cord and stiffened rain peak. The 3-panel hood design allows ample room for a thick scarf and hat, while for comfort, there is a rear, toggled hood adjuster. The front of the hood features an oversize face guard for extreme conditions, which can easily be folded back and fastened inside with studs.

The Snowbee Classic Wading Jacket features a 3-panel integral hood with elasticated draw cord, rain peak and rear hood adjuster strap. A large zip pocket on the back of the jacket, will take a sweater, or other clothing and there is a strong D-Ring for landing nets.

The Snowbee XS-Pro Wading Boots are made entirely from synthetic materials for ultra light weight. The studded cleated sole model weighs just 1420gr (50oz) per pair and combi felt sole model-only 990gr (35oz) per pair. This very quick drying material is particularly useful when travelling or in the damp winter months.

The new Snowbee Neoprene Flats Boots offer complete protection when wading Flats or Coral. The tough moulded sole has a good tread for grip and features an inner fibre sole plate for complete protection against sharp coral, or penetration by Urchin spines. The Neoprene upper gives protection to the foot & ankle. It fastens with a side zip and is high enough to prevent sand getting into the boot.

13166 Neoprene ‘Flats’ Wading/Kayaking Shoes

To compliment our existing Flats Wading Boots, these shorter ‘shoes’ offer a lighter alternative for the angler covering a lot of ground. They are also great for Kayaking or summer wet-wading & beachcombing .

The upper is made from soft Neoprene and has a tough outer rubber sole, which ‘wraps’ around the sides of the upper and has a fibre mid-sole plate for protection.

Wader Repair Glue

Made and packaged for us by Stormsure, the renowned glue specialists, leaks and tears in all types of waders can be easily and permanently repaired. Available in two sizes 15g and the smaller and convenient 5g (in a twin pack) especially for travelling and for emergencies.

SLD Leak Doctor

We’ve all had them, annoying little pin prick hole leaks in our delicate breathable waders, caused by thistles, brambles and gorse along the bank. Well ‘Leak Doctor’ will help find them.

Simply pump spray the ‘Leak Doctor’ over the suspected area and any leaks will appear as small dark patches in no time, quickly repaired with Suncure or Wader Repair Glue.

There is no getting away from it - after a hard days fishing waders & wellies are NOT the most pleasant smelling things on the planet! Our new More information on our range of wader fresh & boot spray products developed by Snowbee Bioscience provide the solution to an age old problem - smelly feet!

These two hi-tech sprays are derived from Chitosan. A totally natural, biodegradable product, extracted from the shells of Shellfish. Chitosan has natural antimicrobial, antiseptic, deodorant and fungicidal properties.

Easy to apply to Waders, Boots, or any type of Footwear, to keep them fresh and reduce foot odour. The ready-to-use, non-toxic sprays should be sprayed inside any type of footwear, as a natural aroma refresher before wearing, or during storage. The totally natural properties of Chitosan inhibit the growth of bacteria responsible for unpleasant musty odours.

Chitosan will also inhibit Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and other fungal growths on the skin or inside shoes & boots. This resistance to the development of fungus and bacteria, helps prevent athlete's foot and other kinds of dermal disease.

Chitosan adsorbs the acidic materials generated in Boots & Waders, by microbes, leaving them with a fresh, pleasant smell.

Laboratory tests conducted by the International SGS Group, concluded that both Wader Fresh & Boots Spray caused a reduction in the 2 separate Test Bacteria's. Staphylococcus aureus & Klebsiella pneumonia of over 99.9% over a 24hr period compared to the Control specimens*.
