Deep Blue Travel Rods
Our popular Deep Blue rods have travelled the world, catching exotic Saltwater species from Bonefish & Tarpon to Sailfish & GT’s but are equally suited closer to home, spinning for Pollack & Mackerel, or Fly Fishing for Bass & Pike. These 4-pce rods pack down to a convenient 29” and come in a quality Polyester Oxford covered Rod tube for protection when travelling. The blanks are finished in a rich, deep blue varnish with matching whippings. Fitted with quality Portuguese Cork handles.
DEEP BLUE FLY RODS
The Deep Blue Fly Rod series, offers the travelling fly fisher serious performance when casting to, or playing large powerful fish in harsh conditions. Not just another fly rod, painted blue & called “saltwater”. These are purpose designed with steeper tapers and thicker blank walls, to cope with powerful saltwater species. The new 2010 range has been completely re-designed, with lighter, faster, more responsive blanks and use the Pacific Bay, patented Channel Lock™ lightweight aluminium reel seats. These are undoubtedly the best on the saltwater scene, locking up effortlessly and providing all-day confidence.
Our new 2010 models feature twin bottom stripping rings. A method practiced by many Cape Cod ‘Striper’ fishermen, the addition of a second stripper ring, just above the first, has proven to “tame” that first coil faster, as it snakes through the bottom guide, allowing faster line speed and extra distance.

Deep Blue Spinning Rods
Superb Travel Spinning Rods. The lighter rod is ideal for light Spinning for Sea-Trout, or any Saltwater species, including Bonefish. The mid-range model, will comfortably handle larger spinners or Plugs, making it ideal for Salmon, Pike, Bass, or any other larger saltwater predator.

10010 Deep Blue Popping/Boat Rod
Our new 8ft 6ins multi-piece Popping/Boat Rod is a powerful popping rod, cleverly
designed so the 2 top sections fit on to the additional ‘boat rod’ butt section supplied. This
converts to a powerful 6ft 4ins boat rod; a perfect combination when travelling overseas
and luggage weight is all important and packing down to a convenient 29” (74cms). In its ‘Popping Rod’ format this 60-165g (2-6oz) rated rod is capable of taming anything from tail-walking Tarpon, to mighty GT’s heading for the coral! This powerful new rod will easily throw the largest of surface poppers and plugs, but has reserves of power, ready for the unexpected! Lightweight graphite reel seats and quality Silicon Carbide lined rings throughout.
Attach the two top sections to the second butt section supplied and you have a 6ft 4ins 20-30lb class boat rod, ideal for anything from trolling for Kingfish to deep water jigging. Both butt sections fitted with a nylon gimbal fitting and cover.
Prestige Travel Fly Rod
The return of the Prestige fly rods in 4 and 6 pieces proved a very popular move. The original Prestige rods introduced way back in 1997 had been produced on Harrison blanks and to ensure the same pedigree with these latest models we once again requested the input from Steve Harrison in the preparation of these 21st century versions of an old favourite.
We also added top quality rings and reel fittings with genuine Cocobolo wood reel seats and each rod carries a lifetime guarantee. Matching cotton drill sleeve and light weight aluminium tube complete the package for ultimate protection, style and peace of mind.
The new 6 and 4-piece Prestige travel rods represent the top of the range for Snowbee and with so many destinations now being visited and fished with the fly, we decided it was high time we produced a rod range suitable for the Snowbee travelling fly fisher. In designing the new Snowbee rods the specification was simple, build the best quality rods we could, making no compromise on any of the materials or design requirements and going better than the Diamond Series by adding the expertise of a top designer like Steve Harrison to help us achieve our stretched objectives.
The use of the very latest and lightest 50T carbon blanks, provides an unbelievably light, effortless, crisp action. Tip recovery is almost instantaneous allowing precision casting with the finest of leaders. Powerful butt sections provide huge reserves of power for distance casting and taming the hardest fighting fish. At 6-pieces, the travel rods are still very lightweight and smuggle into the smallest suitcase or travel bag, so that no destination need be visited without one to hand.
In common with the original Prestige fly rods, this new range has a deep, rich Burgundy colour blank, with subtle matching whippings. Fitted with top quality PacBay nickel silver reel seats with genuine Cocobolo wood inserts, these quality rods more than live up to their ‘Prestige’ name.
Each rod comes in a deep claret, blended cotton drill rod bag and then for total protection when travelling, a quality, lightweight aluminium tube. The matt burgundy finish is complemented by the satin gold anodised end caps and screen printed in matching gold to complete the Prestige finish.
